Industry Research
Visit Anchorage is your source for the latest industry research. Members can contact pr@anchorage.net with specific research inquiries.
Visit Anchorage provides an annual update to the municipality and the community at large on tourism marketing and the visitor industry in Anchorage at the Report to the Community, held in January.
The State of Alaska's Office of Tourism Development regularly commissions research measuring the number of annual visitors to the state, methods of entry to Alaska, country of origin and economic impacts of the state's visitor industry.
The U.S. Travel Association has published industry insights and statistics since 1973. The organization commissions research to measure both domestic and international travel to the United States, as well as the national economic benefits and effects of the visitor industry.

Visit Anchorage's and other tourism industry news is delivered in this bi-monthly printed newsletter mailed to members, volunteers local media, opinion leaders and government officials across Alaska.
